Daniel Taft
     
Born and raised in New York, with a brief diversion to Savannah, GA, I'm an insights strategist and consultant passionate about helping integrated teams define, discover, create, develop, and deliver impactful human-centered products and experiences. I believe the most creative and innovative products and services start from a solid understanding of a customer problem and that adaptable, iterative methodologies can get better products to market, faster.

I bring a diverse background and skillset to consulting and insights engagements — I've been an ethnographer, experience strategist, designer, project manager, producer, copy editor, data analyst, model maker, and instructional designer, and all of those roles shape my point-of-view and inform how I work today.

I have extensive experience in both the B2B and B2C space, but the projects I truly love are where something actually gets made, used, and perfected by people in the real world, where I can see how it affects (and hopefully improves) their moment, work, process, job, or life.
